Revised for 2016-17! - Pollution Coverage Program. CIRMA automatically provides members with property coverage in our Liability-Auto-Property pool broad pollution coverage with high limits through an 'A++' rated carrier. U.S. laws regarding pollution are strict and rely on the concept that the "polluter pays." Whether from leakage, an accident, or the illicit abandonment of hazardous materials, pollution events hurt your budget as well as the environment. Costs for remediation, liability, and legal defense for even small-scale pollution events can be high. Large events may bring additional public relations expenses.
There is no additional cost for this program enhancement. And, unlike other insurers' policies, there is no lengthy application form to complete. Covered pollution conditions include solid, liquid or gaseous pollutants, and waste materials. The policy provides up to $1 Million coverage per pollution condition, with a $2 Million per named insured aggregate limit. For more information, please contact your CIRMA Underwriter. Some exclusions apply.
K-9 Coverage. CIRMA's Police Dog Coverage ensures the ongoing operation of the unit and public safety by providing replacement coverage of up to $10,000, including training costs when a dog is killed or must be retired because of injuries sustained while engaged in law enforcement duties.
Police Dog coverage also includes benefits for emergency veterinary care of up to $2,500 per covered injury, helping to protect your budget and assuring that an wounded K-9 gets the veterinary care he needs. For more information contact your CIRMA Underwriter.
